Quality Depot Solutions (QDS®) Expands Intermodal Capabilities with New Facility in New Orleans, LA
Quality Depot Solutions (QDS®) has launched its new location at 6666 Old Gentilly Rd, New Orleans, LA 77126. The depot is conveniently located near the Port of New Orleans, multiple rail yards, and I-10, and will seamlessly integrate with logistics operations going into and out of the New Orleans market.
This depot facility offers a number of services to customers, including staging (loaded, dirty dedicated, and empty), heating, tracking, and deploying inventory from a secure facility. The QDS team is trained and equipped to prepare isotanks for your export loading needs. QDS can also conduct a number of tests on-site, including hydrostatic pressure tests, pneumatic pressure tests, internal and external visual inspections, safety relief valve tests, and leak tests.
“We are incredibly excited to open this facility and offer our services to the New Orleans market,” shared Joe Acevedo, VP – QDS. “We have a talented team in place that is ready to support the transportation industry, and have invested in first-class equipment to support our operations. We look forward to providing this additional business solution for our existing customers and welcoming new customers.”
This location offers more than a depot facility. Since QDS is part of the Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC®) business suite, QDS customers can benefit from the additional QC solutions located at or near this facility, including:
