Q2 Review from QC’s President, Randy Strutz
Building on my Q1 review, I can proudly say that Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC®) has remained resilient in a challenging market and had a successful second quarter. We have made significant improvements to our operational efficiency and have continued to manage costs throughout the organization. Q2 presented a number of opportunities that demonstrate the growing expertise of our team and the expanding solutions available to our customers.
QDS has been rapidly expanding to major logistics hubs across North America, and has launched new locations in North Bergen, NJ and New Orleans, LA. QDS is an exceptional demonstration of the strength of QC’s suite of solutions. Our customers can benefit from:
- Full trucking support through Quality Carriers;
- Integrated repair options through Quality Repair Solutions;
- Transit to and from Mexico through Quality Mexico Solutions;
- Tank cleaning through Quality Wash Solutions; and
- Intermodal expertise through QC Intermodal.
By bringing together resources from each of its brands, QC provides industry-leading solutions to our customers.
During May, we took time to acknowledge and appreciate teammates from across the company for Military Appreciation Month with gifts and public spotlights. Veterans make up a considerable portion of our workforce, and their unique set of skills are critical to QC’s success. I am honored that so many veterans choose to commit their talents to our team.
Elena Adang joined our senior leadership team with her promotion to QC’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In this new role, Elena heads up the legal and human resources departments, where she advises the company on a broad spectrum of employment, compliance, and regulatory matters.
This quarter has been an excellent demonstration of our commitment to serving the communities where we live and work. We have sponsored public movie screenings in Florida, a food pantry in Pennsylvania, agricultural education in Texas, high school marching bands in Tennessee and Alabama, human trafficking awareness campaigns across the country, and more. These are causes that our teammates are passionate about, and we are proud to support these critical initiatives.
I take immense pride in our team’s resilience and achievements, particularly while navigating challenging times. I anticipate our continued collective growth and am eager to build on this momentum for the remainder of 2026.
